AP Cymru – The Neurodiversity Charity says "Thank You" to Swansea 10k Supporters and Fundraisers

AP Cymru – The Neurodiversity Charity extends its thanks to all participants, supporters and organisers of the Swansea 10k event, held on the 15th September 2024.

The overwhelming generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved have helped raise both essential funds and vital awareness for AP Cymru - The Neurodiversity Charity’s work supporting neurodiverse children, young people, and their families.

A special thank you goes to the event organisers alongside Admiral and Swansea City Council, for creating such a fantastic community event. The funds raised during the race will directly contribute to the charity’s mission of promoting a neuro-inclusive world, where those with lived experiences of neurodiversity are understood, respected and supported.

AP Cymru - The Neurodiversity Charity is particularly grateful to the amazing individuals who ran in the race, many of whom raised money to support the charity’s work. From seasoned runners to first-time participants, everyone’s dedication made such a difference.

We also want to give a special mention to our incredible mascot, who braved the heat on race day to help raise awareness for the cause. Their energy and commitment was brilliant.

Karen Mills, Chief Executive of AP Cymru – The Neurodiversity Charity said, said:

‘We are truly overwhelmed by the kindness and support shown by everyone involved in the Swansea 10k event. The funds raised will go directly towards our work supporting neurodiverse families across Wales, helping us to continue delivering guidance, resources and training. Equally important is the awareness raised during events like this. Every person who ran, volunteered, or donated is helping us to build a more inclusive society for those who experience the world differently. Thank you so much to everyone – your efforts will make a real difference’.
