Karen

Testimonial

Following our event, we were delighted to receive this testimonial from a family.

"Thank you so much for today - it was our only trip out that we managed as a family of 4 this Christmas holidays, which is nothing short of a miracle! Slight issue that we ended coming home with this (huge!) addition to the family though."

Survival Mode - Understanding the reality of masking and burnout

Neurodivergent employees and pupils often spend tremendous energy hiding their differences, a process known as masking. This constant effort is the #1 predictor of burnout, stress, and non attendance within the workplace or education setting.

In this powerful 60 minute session, join our AuDHD CEO, Karen, as she shares authentic, lived experience and professional insight into the high cost of masking. This is not theory—it is a candid look at survival in neurotypical environments.

What this session will unpack:
• The Anatomy of Masking: How neurodivergent individuals consciously and unconsciously suppress their traits in the workplace or classroom.

• The Burnout Cycle: Understanding why masking inevitably leads to exhaustion, anxiety, and a breakdown in performance.

• Signs of Distress: Learn to spot the hidden indicators of stress and imminent burnout in staff and pupils.

• Creating Safety: Simple, practical ways to build psychological safety that reduces the need to mask, leading to better well-being and productivity.

Move beyond 'awareness' to genuine understanding. Learn how to create an environment where staff or pupils can thrive, not just survive. This event will be provided via zoom, you will receive the link to join us prior to the event.
