As 2025 comes to a close...
18 December 2025

Welcome to our latest newsletter.
As we come to the end of 2025, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you and to reflect a little on the year.
For many families, this year has not been an easy one. We continue to hear every day from parents and carers who feel overwhelmed, exhausted and unsure where to turn. This makes the work AP Cymru does feel more important than ever, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.
Throughout 2025, we have continued to offer advice, training and one to one support to families across Wales. Often people tell us that just being listened to makes a difference. We have also worked closely with schools and organisations to improve understanding of neurodiversity which has been very rewarding. My team are looking forward to working with more partners in 2026.
I am very proud of my small team, our volunteers and our trustees who give so much of their time to the charity. I am equally grateful to those of you who have attended events, shared our work, donated and fundraised.
Thank you for being part of the AP Cymru community. We look forward to continuing this work together in 2026.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year.

Good luck Charlotte!
We would like to thank Charlotte so much for her hard work over the past three years. She has run many successful events, and has supported so many families in need. Charlotte is leaving AP Cymru now to take up a new role. We wish her all the very best for the future.
Thank you Ty Nant Pub!

Superstar of the Month!
Massive congratulations to Sam for winning one of AP Cymru's 'Superstars of the Month.' Sam is pictured here with her certificate and gift.
One of our AP family members was delighted to present Sam with her gift and said, 'So lovely to see you today and surprise you with your 'AP Cymru Superstar of the month' certificate and gift following our nomination. We are over the moon to see you win and will be forever grateful for your consistent support, empathy and dedication over the past three years whilst we navigated the challenges met with seeking ND and ARFID diagnosis for our three children. You have gone above and beyond for us as a family and adapted to the children's special interests to keep them all engaged in the emotional regulation strategies that we still rely on.
We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and we shall see you in 2026!'
Super Star of the month
'Alice is so happy to have been selected as Super Star of the month. I nominated her for going out of her comfort zone. As she has been elected by her class as their representative for the school council.
Well done Alice we are so proud of you'.
