Terms & Conditions

To participate in a run or challenge you must agree the terms and conditions below. These terms constitute the fundraising agreement between AP Cymru and you, as a participant.

Taking Part

I understand that the event is not organised by AP Cymru, but by a third party (Run 4 Wales). It is my responsibility to read any terms and conditions issued by the Event Organisers and to comply with these.
I confirm that I am medically fit and that I participate in the event at my own risk. AP Cymru will not be held responsible for injury or illness resulting from my participation.
All AP Cymru Participants must be aged 18 or over by the Event Date.
I acknowledge that any registration fee is non-refundable, and that charity places in the event are non-transferable. The registration fee does not contribute towards my fundraising target.
I understand that AP Cymru may need to share my name and email address with the event organiser and where necessary, with other third parties involved in the administration of the event.
I will contact AP Cymru if I am unable to take part in the event and forward any money raised to AP Cymru for their work with children and young people.

Fundraising

I will use my best endeavours to raise money for AP Cymru in connection with my participation in the event and, in particular aim to raise at least £300 for AP Cymru. I understand that Gift Aid doesn’t count towards my fundraising target and that I need to raise 50% or more of the fundraising target 4 weeks before the event date.
I understand and will make clear to those who support my fundraising that any money I send to AP Cymru will be treated as a donation and used for AP Cymru's work with children and young people. Donations are not generally refundable, even if I fail to take part in or withdraw from the event.
Any fundraising I undertake in connection with my participation in the event will be for AP Cymru only and I will forward all monies donated to the Charity either by cash, cheque, CAF or via an online giving provider no later than four weeks after the event.
I will only use lawful means to fundraise for AP Cymru and will not bring the charity's names into disrepute.

Photos

I understand that there may be photography at the event and I grant permission for AP Cymru to use photographs, motion pictures, quotes, or any other record of my participation in the event for the purpose of marketing future events online and on print materials, for a period of 5 years.

Agreement Confirmation

I confirm I have read, understood and agree to all the terms and conditions set out above, and understand AP Cymru may terminate our relationship if I am in breach of any of the terms and conditions.
